A Collection of Vintage Porcelain and Brass Condiment Shakers
Description
An assortment of vintage table condiment shakers and containers. The collection comprises a pair of tapered porcelain shakers decorated with floral sprays in pink and orange tones and finished with gilded rims. Also included is a pair of bulbous porcelain shakers featuring hand-painted polychrome floral designs in orange, blue, and yellow. Completing the group are two novelty condiment containers, each designed with a cylindrical brass body, a perforated screw-off cap, and a horizontal turned wooden handle.
Tapered porcelain shakers: approximately 7.5 cm in height
Bulbous porcelain shakers: approximately 5.5 cm in height
Brass condiment containers: approximately 5 cm in height; length including handle approximately 9.5 cm.
Condition report:
The collection is in good used condition. The brass components exhibit surface tarnishing and areas of oxidation throughout. The porcelain items show minor rubbing to the gilded rims and slight wear to the surface glazes. Bulbous shaker set is missing base stoppers.
