Two Coronation Street 50th Anniversary Commemorative Items
Description
A collection of two commemorative items produced to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the British television soap opera Coronation Street. The first item is a large-format hardcover book titled The Treasures of Coronation Street by Tim Randall. The red patterned cover is decorated with framed photographs of various characters and scenes, as well as images of the programme’s signature ceramic flying ducks. The cover states that the book contains removable items of memorabilia and an audio CD. The second item is a 3-disc DVD box set titled 50 Coronation St.: The Stars of the Street, released by ITV Studios Home Entertainment. Subtitled 50 Years, 50 Classic Characters… The Ultimate Countdown, the collection features over six hours of content and is housed in a gold-coloured cardboard slipcase with a UK ’12’ age rating.
Condition report:
Both items appear to be in good overall condition. The book shows light shelf wear to the edges and corners of the boards. The DVD slipcase exhibits minor signs of handling and light edge wear. The internal contents of the book, including the removable memorabilia and CD, have not been checked for completeness, and the DVD discs have not been inspected for scratches or playback.
