Honduras Laminated Wood Relief Carved Wall Plaque - Very Good Condition

Description
A hand-carved relief wall plaque, produced in Honduras. The piece is constructed from horizontal laminated planks of contrasting light and dark tropical hardwoods, shaped into a stylized ewer or vessel silhouette with an integral handle. The central recessed portion features a high-relief rural scene depicting red-roofed buildings, a large central tree, and stylized foliage, with details highlighted in green, yellow, and red pigments. To the right of the scene, the word HONDURAS is deeply incised in large block letters. The reverse reveals the striped construction of the timber and is fitted with a small brass triangular hanging loop.

Condition report:
The plaque is in very good condition. It displays minor superficial surface marks consistent with handling.
