Royal Grafton Winter Landscapes Series Fine Bone China Collector Plate No. 4, In Box
Description
A Royal Grafton fine bone china collector’s plate, being Plate No. 4 from a four-part series titled Winter Landscapes. The plate features a transfer-printed landscape scene after the works of B.C. Koekkoek and A. Schelfhout, depicting figures and a horse-drawn wagon in a snowy rural setting. It is finished with a gilded rim. The reverse displays the series information and the Royal Grafton backstamp, which includes a crown motif and the text Royal Grafton Made in England Est 1876 Fine Bone China. A printed warning on the base states Not for food use – food consumed from this vessel may be harmful. Please note the certificate of authenticity shown in the images is from Dominion China Ltd for an unrelated series and is mispaired with this lot.
Condition report:
The plate is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing visible. The gilding is well-preserved.
