Two Vintage Automotive Items Comprising a Halfords Oil Pouring Jug and Span Funnel
Description
This lot features two vintage pieces of automotive workshop equipment: an oil pouring jug and a coordinating funnel. The pouring jug is finished in green paint and displays a yellow and black decal to the front with the text HALFORDS. It is constructed from seamed metal with an integrated handle and a fixed pouring spout. The interior and base are in a bare metal finish. The coordinating metal funnel is unpainted and features an embossed maker’s mark to the interior base consisting of a triangle containing the letters SPAN. These items are representative of mid-20th-century British garage equipment, produced for the long-standing UK automotive retailer Halfords.
