A Trio of Vintage Clocks including Westclox Big Ben and Estyma Travel Alarm
Description
This lot comprises three vintage clocks of various designs. The first is a folding travel alarm clock with a red textured case. The rectangular silvered dial features black Arabic numerals and is marked Estyma, 2 Jewels, and Germany. The second clock is a Westclox carriage-style mantel clock, featuring a black polished body with a gilt-metal swing handle and base trim. The front is decorated with gold-toned scrollwork motifs, and the circular white dial displays black Roman numerals, marked Westclox, Quartz, and Made in Britain. The third item is a Westclox Big Ben desk alarm clock in an oval gold-toned metal case. It has a black dial with white Arabic numerals and luminescent-tipped hands, marked Big Ben and Westclox.
Condition report:
The clocks are in used condition with visible surface wear and tarnish to the metal elements, notably on the Westclox carriage clock handle and the Estyma frame. The travel clock case shows minor exterior wear and scuffing. Movements are untested for timekeeping accuracy and may require winding, batteries, or professional servicing.
