Description
A collection of vintage children’s hardcover books from the Disney’s Wonderful World of Reading series, published by Grolier and Walt Disney Productions. The assortment includes titles such as Peter Pan, The Jungle Book, The Prince and the Pauper, 101 Dalmatians, and Lady and the Tramp. Each volume is bound in publisher’s pictorial hardboards featuring colour illustrations based on the Disney animated films. The covers display the series logo in the upper corner. These books were issued as part of a subscription book club and are typically octavo in size. The interior pages are fully illustrated with artwork corresponding to the respective animated motion pictures.
Condition report:
The collection is in good used condition with wear consistent with age and previous handling. Visible defects include minor bumping to the corners and spine ends, as well as light surface rubbing and occasional minor scratches to the pictorial boards. The bindings remain secure. These volumes were published without dust jackets.
