Two Vintage Glass Souvenir Sand Art Bottles, including Guitar-Shaped and Character Figurine Examples
Description
A lot comprising two vintage moulded glass souvenir bottles containing layered multi-coloured sand, characteristic of souvenirs from Alum Bay, Isle of Wight. The larger bottle is formed as an acoustic guitar with moulded details representing the sound hole, strings, and bridge. It contains horizontal layers of naturally occurring sand in hues of brown, ochre, grey, and red. The second item is a smaller moulded glass figurine of a boy wearing a peaked cap, similarly filled with layered coloured sand. Both items are sealed with their original cork stoppers.

Character figurine height: 8.5cm.
Condition report:
Both items are in good vintage condition. The cork stoppers remain in place and appear secure. The sand layers show minor shifting and blurring typical of age and handling, but the decorative effect remains intact. No chips or cracks were observed to the glass bodies.
