UK 2002 Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee Medal, Gilding Metal
Description
A commemorative medal struck for the Golden Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II in 2002. The piece is struck in solid gilding metal. The obverse features the Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee obverse with the inscription ELIZABETH II 1952-2002 GOLDEN JUBILEE. The reverse features a stylized crown and date reverse motif with the legend THE QUEEN’S GOLDEN JUBILEE 2002. The medal is presented in its original square clear acrylic case with a dark blue textured card insert. The insert is decorated with gold-toned corner scrollwork and bears the inscriptions ELIZABETH II GOLDEN JUBILEE 2002 and LIMITED EDITION SOLID GILDING METAL.
Condition report:
Uncirculated. The medal retains a high-luster finish and shows no visible signs of wear or handling. The protective acrylic case exhibits minor surface scuffing from storage.
