Contemporary Industrial Style Welded Metal Figural Sculpture
Description
A contemporary industrial-style folk art sculpture constructed from polished steel salvaged components, including nuts, bolts, tubing, and perforated metal sheeting. The work depicts two whimsical, stylized figures mounted on individual rectangular base plates that are connected by two parallel metal rods. One figure is shown holding a circular hoop, while the other gestures with two rod-like implements. The figures feature wire-detailed faces and flared, textured hats. The underside of the base plates is finished with a black protective backing. No maker’s marks, signatures, or foundry stamps are present on the piece. This type of metalwork is consistent with the style of commercial manufacturers such as Steelman24, though it remains unattributed.

Condition report:
The sculpture is in good condition overall. The metal surfaces show minor irregularities and signs of welding consistent with the handcrafted assembly process. There is light surface dust. The black protective backing on the underside remains intact.
