Two vintage pressed glass ashtrays including a French emerald green example
Description
This lot comprises two vintage pressed glass ashtrays. The first is a large circular ashtray of deep emerald green colour, featuring a prominent sunburst pattern to the interior base and a heavily faceted saw-tooth style rim. The interior base is embossed with the word FRANCE arranged in an arc, accompanied by several indistinct numerals. The second is a smaller square ashtray in vibrant blue glass, featuring a minimalist design with a frosted matte finish to the central circular well and integrated cigarette rests at each corner.
Condition report:
Both items are in good vintage condition. The green ashtray exhibits some light surface scuffing and fine scratches to the interior well consistent with age and use. The blue ashtray shows no significant signs of damage, chips, or cracks.
