A Mid-century Style Amber Glass Condiment Set in a Wrought Iron and Wood Stand
Description
A set of amber glass condiments presented in a decorative carrier. The set, resembling mid-century Spanish glasswork, comprises cruets with applied handles and spouts, and shakers with perforated metal caps. The glassware is produced in a warm honey-amber tone with visible characteristics of hand-blown or mould-blown production. The items are housed in a decorative metal carrier featuring a dark wirework handle with a circular loop and heart-shaped scrollwork, set into a dark-stained base with a scalloped edge. A faceted wooden stopper is included. No manufacturer’s marks or signatures are visible on any components.
Condition report:
Overall fair condition. One cruet is missing its closure. There is general surface wear and residue throughout, consistent with age and domestic use. The metalwork and base show some minor wear to the finish. No chips or cracks are visible on the glass components.
