Lot 41:
Bumblebee Themed Plush Gonk and Ceramic Lidded Mug - Very Good Condition
Sold for: £4
Description
This lot comprises two decorative items featuring a coordinated bumblebee and gnome aesthetic. The first item is a plush gonk figure, constructed from mixed textiles including a black and yellow striped knit hat and body. The figure features a long white faux-fur beard, a peach-coloured bulbous nose, and yellow felt wings at the reverse. The hat is further embellished with three white fabric daisy flowers and yellow pom-poms. A retail card tag is attached to the hat, though the text is not legible.
The second item is a two-piece novelty ceramic mug with a removable lid. The glazed ceramic body is shaped to represent a gnome’s torso and white beard, decorated with printed sunflower and bee motifs on a pale cream ground. The matching lid is designed as a pointed hat with yellow and black horizontal stripes, decorated with blue and white floral details and a small bumblebee. The vessel is fitted with a curved, pale yellow glazed handle.
Condition report:
The items are in very good condition. The plush figure shows some minor crushing to the felt wings and the ceramic mug is free from visible chips or cracks.
