Description
The lot consists of a thirteen-piece porcelain tea service comprising six cups, six saucers, and a lidded sugar bowl. Each piece is constructed from white porcelain featuring a wide decorative band of cream lace-style floral patterns. The design is finished with gold-toned highlights to the rims and handles. The sugar bowl is of a rounded form with two side handles and a domed lid topped with a circular finial. The base of each piece is marked with a printed orange-red device consisting of a stylized bird’s head with a crest positioned above a circle, accompanied by the characters 1 – C.
