Two Pieces of Decorative Pressed Glass Tableware - Very Good Condition
Sold for: £2
Description
This lot comprises two pieces of decorative glassware, characteristic of 20th-century pressed glass manufacture. The first item is a shallow, circular serving bowl featuring a complex geometric design. The centreface is decorated with a radial starburst pattern, while the main body comprises rows of multi-pointed stars and faceted diamond motifs. The rim is finished with a serrated, scalloped edge. The second item is a deep, globular bowl, possibly intended as a rose bowl or compote. It features a deep-cut ‘pineapple’ or harlequin diamond pattern across the sides and a moulded starburst motif on the base. The upper rim is shaped with a distinctive crimped or waved decorative edge. Both pieces are crafted from clear glass and exhibit high definition in their moulded patterns.
Bowl diameter: 26 cm
Deep bowl diameter: 14.5 cm.
Condition report:
Both items are in very good condition.
