Description
A Moroccan style table lamp constructed from nickel-plated brass or a similar silver-toned metal alloy. The lamp features a bulbous, onion-shaped body decorated with an intricate all-over pierced filigree pattern. This geometric openwork consists of repeating almond-shaped motifs arranged in undulating horizontal bands, designed to create decorative shadow patterns when illuminated. The piece is topped with a tapering neck and a decorative turned metal finial. The interior contains a modern electrical conversion with a white plastic B22 bayonet cap lamp holder mounted to an internal metal frame. The fitting is marked for a 240V system with a maximum 13W LED bulb.
