Lot 83:
Brass and Steel Animal Finial Shish Kebab Skewers - Used Condition
Sold for: £7
Description
A set of four decorative skewers intended for shish kebab or table service. Each piece is constructed with a square-profile metal stem that tapers to a sharpened point. The stems are topped with cast brass decorative finials in four distinct animal motifs: a cockerel, a ram, a fish, and a duck. The finials feature textured detailing and exhibit a natural aged patina with some darkening in the recessed areas. The metal stems display general surface tarnish and oxidation spots consistent with vintage utility ware.
Length: 30 cm.
Condition report:
The skewers are in used condition.
