Cast Brass Hand Clutching Grenade Cyprus Souvenir Table Lighter - Very Good Condition
Description
A novelty table lighter, cast in heavy brass and designed in the form of a human hand clutching a pineapple-style hand grenade. The base is decorated with a relief map of the island of Cyprus and identifying text for Kyrenia, Morphou, Nicosia, Famagusta, Larnaca, Paphos, and Limassol. A chrome-plated gas lighter mechanism is inset into the top of the grenade, stamped with the word GAS on the side. The base of the piece is fitted with a green felt protective pad.
