Description
An original surrealist science-fiction landscape painting by Carlos Tomas, executed using spray paint and airbrush techniques on board. The composition features a central golden pyramid situated next to a detailed miniature city enclosed within a large translucent dome. To the left, a bright light source radiates rays through a multi-coloured sky of lavender, blue, and white tones. The right side of the work depicts a dark, jagged cliffside textured in shades of green and black, featuring stylized trees with bright purple blossoms. The painting is housed in a simple glass clip frame. The lower right-hand corner is inscribed in white pigment with the date 1995, followed by the names Tomas 17.6 and Carlos.
