R. White's Traditional Cream Speckled Ginger Beer Bottles - Unopened
Description
This lot comprises a pair of R. White’s Traditional Ginger Beer bottles, manufactured by Canada Dry Rawlings Ltd in Kettering, Northamptonshire. The bottles are constructed from ceramic stoneware featuring a cream-coloured glaze with dark speckling to imitate nineteenth-century pottery. A brown transfer-printed circular emblem on the front displays decorative flourishes and identifies the contents as being made with real beer. Each vessel is fitted with a metal crown cap and contains a carbonated soft drink formulated with sugar, citric acid, and artificial sweeteners. These 175ml bottles were designed as an interpretation of historical breweriana packaging styles.
