An Assortment of Vintage Silver-Plated Tableware including Florantal and Queen Anne Items
Description
A collection of vintage silver-plated tableware items, primarily of mid-20th century British manufacture. The lot includes a set of six napkin rings by Florantal, featuring a pierced lattice pattern, presented in their original retail box labelled Florantal Silver Plated Made in England. Also included is a crescent-shaped napkin holder by Queen Anne, a brand of A. Mayell and Sons, decorated with a pierced foliate design and standing on four ball feet; it is stamped Made in England to the interior base and housed in its original blue and red retail box. The collection further comprises a set of six circular coasters with an embossed foliate scroll pattern surrounding a plain central reserve and finished with blue felt undersides, contained within a blue diamond-patterned box labelled Silver Plated. Completing the lot are two small circular dishes or bottle coasters of differing sizes, both featuring pierced galleries and embossed foliate scroll centres. All items are constructed from silver-plated base metal.
