Two Decorative Tablewares Comprising a Lustre Ceramic Bowl and an Iridescent Textured Glass Dish
Description
Two pieces of decorative tableware consisting of a ceramic bowl and a square art glass dish. The ceramic bowl is of circular form with a foot ring. The interior is decorated with a mottled pale blue and white glaze and finished with a fine gilt rim. The exterior is coated in a mottled pink lustre glaze with an iridescent sheen. A small hand-painted pink mark in the shape of a cross is located on the white-glazed base. The square glass dish has a central circular well and wide, undulating wavy edges. The glass is amber in colour with an iridescent finish to the top surface and a heavily textured bark-style finish to the underside.
Condition report:
Both pieces appear to be in good condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs are visible to either the ceramic bowl or the glass dish. The glazes, iridescence, and gilding are well-preserved with no significant wear noted.
