A Trio of Angelstar Handmade and Hand-Painted Glass Butterfly Dishes
Description
A trio of contemporary Angelstar decorative glass dishes comprising one larger square-form dish and two smaller rectangular dishes. Each piece is constructed from slumped glass with curved, upturned edges. The central design features a hand-painted butterfly motif in vibrant blue, black, and white. The upper section of each dish is finished with a dark grey border containing a silver-toned scrolling vine and floral pattern. The lower background has a mottled crackle-effect finish in off-white and silver, accented with further black scrolling vine details. The undersides are finished with a textured silver coating featuring an embossed floral pattern and are fitted with four black circular foam pads for surface protection. The base of the larger dish retains two adhesive labels, one identifying it as a Silver Butterfly Plate and the other stating it is not for use in a dishwasher or microwave.
Dimensions: width approximately 15cm to 25cm.
Condition report:
The dishes are in good condition throughout, with no visible chips, cracks, or surface scratches. The hand-painted decoration and silvered finish remain bright and intact.
