A Coalbrook China Hand-Modelled Porcelain Floral Brooch
Description
A hand-modelled porcelain floral brooch produced by Coalbrook China, England. The design features a central pink rose with ruffled petals set amongst a cluster of green leaves. The reverse of the brooch consists of a circular gold-tone metal plate, stamped with the text COALBROOK CHINA and MADE IN ENGLAND. This piece of jewellery is fitted with a horizontal base metal pin and a rolling safety clasp mechanism.
Condition report:
Visible surface discolouration and brown speckling is present on the pink petals. Minor chipping is observed on the edges of the green leaves. The pin and safety clasp are in functional condition.
