Two Decorative Cushions Including an Elephant Tapestry Motif and a Stumpf Abstract Print
Description
Two square decorative cushions. The first cushion features a central woven tapestry panel depicting a caparisoned elephant with geometric motifs in blue, red, orange, and black on a light grey woven ground, finished with a decorative floral border and a plain off-white reverse. The second cushion features a vibrant multi-coloured abstract print with sweeping curves in green, blue, purple, orange, and yellow, contrasted with solid black areas and black and white horizontal stripes. This cushion includes a red circular decorative graphic and a smooth, semi-lustrous fabric finish. It bears the cursive signature Stumpf in one corner.
Condition report:
Both cushions are in good used condition. The elephant cushion shows minor fraying and occasional loose threads to the woven borders of the tapestry panel. The abstract cushion exhibits a faint horizontal scratch in a black section of the print. Both cushions show minor compression consistent with storage and use.
