Vintage British Army Personal Decontamination Kit No. 2 - Sealed In Packaging
Description
A British Army issue Personal Decontamination Kit No. 2, designed for Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical (NBC) defence. The kit consists of a white plastic puffer bottle containing decontamination powder, commonly identified as Fuller’s Earth. The bottle is fitted with a black screw-top dispensing nozzle and is presented in its original, factory-sealed clear polythene protective bag. The instructional label provides directions for the decontamination of personal equipment including socks, boots, webbing, and weapons, advising the user to apply a thin layer of powder and spread it using a gloved hand or a D.K.P. pad.
The label is printed with the following identifying information:

NATO NO 6545 – 99 – 961 – 4239
The vertical text on the reverse side of the bottle includes the words DECONTAMINATION, SHELTER, SQUEEZE, and SPREAD.
