A Wade England Green Glazed Pottery Scroll-Handled Posy Vase
Description
This mid-20th-century earthenware trough-style vase or posy bowl was produced by Wade in England. The piece is finished in a monochrome green translucent glaze that pools in the recesses of the moulding to highlight the decorative details. The design features a fluted or lobed body with a scalloped rim, supported by an oval pedestal base. It is flanked by two large scroll-form handles. The base is embossed with the words WADE and ENGLAND, and also features a faint, illegible blue ink mark.

Condition report:
The vase shows fine overall crazing to the glaze, which is consistent with earthenware of this age and type. There is a small chip to the lower edge of one of the scroll handles. No other cracks or signs of professional restoration are visible.
