A Vintage J.W. Benson 17 Jewel Mechanical Ladies Cocktail Watch
Description
A vintage ladies cocktail watch by J.W. Benson, London. The timepiece is fitted with a mechanical manual wind movement with 17 jewels and Incabloc shock protection. The oval champagne-tone dial is set with applied baton hour markers and black baton hands. The dial is signed J.W. BENSON to the upper portion, with 17 JEWELS INCABLOC to the centre and SWISS MADE to the base. The watch features an oval yellow metal case integrated into a matching bracelet, both decorated with a continuous heavy bark-effect textured finish. The bracelet is secured by a fold-over clasp. Accompanied by a navy blue presentation box.
Case width: 18mm approximately.
Condition report:
The watch is in good vintage condition with surface wear and light tarnishing to the metal surfaces consistent with age. There are minor scuffs and scratches visible on the crystal. The mechanical movement is currently untested for timekeeping accuracy or functionality.
