Description
A mid-20th century coffee table in the Queen Anne style. The circular top is finished with four-way book-matched figured burr walnut veneers and features a raised, scalloped pie-crust edge. The table is constructed with a deep veneered apron and is supported by four cabriole legs. Each leg features carved foliate detailing at the knee and terminates in a claw-and-ball foot. No maker marks or labels are visible.
Condition report:
The table is in poor cosmetic condition and requires professional refinishing. The top surface shows significant damage to the finish, including large areas of moisture or heat clouding, lifting polish, and general surface wear. There are various scuffs, scratches, and abrasions to the legs and apron consistent with age and storage.
