A Pair of Vintage Wharfedale Hi-Fi Speakers
Description
A pair of vintage loudspeakers manufactured by Wharfedale. The units are housed in rectangular wooden cabinets with a natural veneer finish and feature dark brown fabric grilles. Each speaker is fitted with a metal badge on the front face displaying a stylised W logo and the manufacturer name WHARFEDALE positioned vertically. The design and badge style are consistent with the Wharfedale XP and 3XP ranges produced during the 1970s, resembling models such as the Linton or Shelton. No specific model names, serial numbers, or technical specifications are visible from the frontal perspective.
Condition report:
The speakers show visible cosmetic wear and age-related deterioration. There is noticeable chipping and loss to the wood veneer along the corners and edges of both cabinets. The fabric grilles appear intact but exhibit light surface dust and minor soiling. The internal components have not been inspected and the speakers are sold as untested.
