A Trio of Silver-Toned Novelty and Corporate Desk Clocks including Colibri and Graseby Dynamics
Description
A collection of three silver-toned desk clocks of varying designs. The first is a modernist arched clock with a brushed metal case and a minimalist black dial featuring silver baton markers. The lower front is engraved with a corporate logo and the text Graseby Dynamics, identifying it as a piece for the British defence firm. The second is a miniature mantel clock in the bracket style, manufactured by Colibri. It features a tiered base and a white dial with Roman numerals set within a gold-toned bezel. The third is a novelty clock cast in the form of a vintage open-top tourer automobile. The clock face is inset into the rear passenger compartment and features a white dial with Arabic numerals. All pieces are fitted with quartz movements.
Condition report:
The items appear in good overall condition with minor surface wear, light scratches, and tarnishing consistent with age and handled use. The quartz movements have not been tested for accuracy or functionality, and batteries may need to be replaced.
