A collection of ten vintage long-playing (LP) vinyl records featuring a diverse range of musical styles. The assortment includes a two-record set of Non-Stop Christmas Disco by The Roller Disco Orchestra. Country and western titles comprise 20 Originals From The Country and Western Hall of Fame, More Hank Snow Souvenirs released on RCA Victor, The Best of Country Music: 16 Great Songs, and Country Music Festival: 4th Folk Voice. Folk and traditional music is represented by Bing Crosby’s Shillelaghs and Shamrocks on the Brunswick label, Mary Larkin: Pride of Tipperary, and the Polynesian-style compilation Haere Mai! Welcome published by Viking Records. Also included is a self-titled Brook Benton album on the Fontana Special label and the K-Tel compilation Midnight Hustle featuring twenty original hits. Each record is contained within its original illustrated cardboard sleeve. This lot is sourced from a United Kingdom auction house.
Condition report:
The record sleeves exhibit signs of age and wear consistent with use. Significant paper loss and tearing is noted on the bottom right corner of the jacket for More Hank Snow Souvenirs. Other jackets show general edge wear, some creasing, and surface rubbing. The playability of the vinyl discs have not been tested but inspected for scratches and warping.
